I am wanting to setup an Aquaponic program and , I was thinking about getting a technique where water runs from a plant place and goes back into the Tilapia tank,

Would the plants take all the nutrients out of the water?
(therefore not permitting the algae to grow which they usually consume)

And if the plants did take all the nutrients my plan is to feed them and let their poo
